Curated by Tina Rivers Ryan, assistant curator of Albright Knox Gallery, Chaotic Good was a 2019 exhibition held at UB Galleries in Buffalo, New York. The collection explored what it’s like to live with chaos, each artist wresting order from disorder—or disorder from order—in different ways. Whether the chaos is emotional or physical, temporal or spatial, bodily or environmental, they make meaning out of the messiness.
I collaborated with UB Galleries to develop marketing material for the exhibition's opening. A small piece of each artist's work hides within the design, becoming a peculiar maze of individual meaning and breadth.
